1. Practical: Register a Twitter account
I had always heard about Twitter and was curious of this social media platform; unfortunately, I did not had the chance to use it because it was not popular in Asian countries. This assignment is an opportunity that motivates me to investigate this platform. I have established a Twitter account at @. I am now following 28 Twitterers. I amazingly have 9 followers, despite having only posted three messages! I think that it is quite easy to get followers.
2. Inquiry: Review the top Twitter trends
One of the top stories that I felt was most interesting was #ClosingCeremony because I felt it was familiar, so I was confident writing about it.
The top news on the screen was Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, he was disguised as the cartoon character of Super Mario at Rio Olympics closing ceremony because Tokyo will host the 2020 Olympics. His action made me surprised because of the contrast with his indigenous image. As a result, I clicked the link for this top news.

The short cameo, which received a positive reaction from Olympic Bun (2016) on Twitter, came towards the end of the closing ceremony on Sunday night.

Luckily, I found the Official account @ of The Tokyo Olympic Organising Committee. They now undertake to promote 2020 Tokyo Olympic.

3. Technical: Complete Quiz 2 – Grammar Rules
I always find grammar difficult because I am not a native speaker. I am happy to do this quiz because I can learn more about grammar. Before I did the quiz, I prepared by reading the chapter two of English for Journalists. As I could not absorb the knowledge in a short time, I attempted to do the quiz in three times in order to get a full marks.
